The team was talking to the people of Akutey on how the passion of helping communities who lack a healthy source of water came about in the local language (Twi). The town man showed the team HOD where they fetch their source of water for household use.
The team of HOD had a chat with the beautiful children of Akutey about their aspirations in life. The children had dreams of becoming policemen and women, Doctors, presidents etc. When the team was leaving the children had the hope of us bringing them healthy water soon.
Akutey is a community in the Upper Manya Krobo district of Ghana’s Eastern Region, about an hour’s drive from Asesewa. I recently visited the community and I was moved by the poor quality of water they use, to do something for them. I am enlisting your support to contribute to the provision of a borehole and its treatment facilities for the community.
My company, NaaviQ company Limited, will be on the ground for 10 days during the project set up, with all our necessary equipment and technical hands to implement the project for free. Besides; We’ll train two youth in the community on how to operate the entire set up for free. A special donation of school uniforms, footwear, and stationery sponsored by myself will be handed over to the school in the community. Your support is needed to provide healthy drinking water for this community.
